The final installment of âAllen v. Farrow,â an HBO documentary series examining Dylan Farrowâs sexual abuse allegations against her adopted father, Woody Allen, covers the years from 1993, when a stateâs attorney declined to prosecute the filmmaker, to the present.
Study shows evidence-based interventions can improve infant brain health
In the world of neurodevelopment, one thing is clear: the earlier the intervention the better. Infancy is a critical time in brain development, and neuroscientists are increasingly identifying factors that can negatively impact cognition and ones that can improve cognition early in life.
At the annual meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS), researchers from the University of Minnesota are presenting new work on two early interventions: one on the potential use of engineered gut microbes for antibiotic-exposed infants and another on a choline supplement to treat infants exposed prenatally to alcohol.

For the first time, a former Great Ormond Street Hospital porter, Paul Farrell, who confessed to a series of instances of abusing children after befriending their parents, has been captured. After a judge lifted restrictions banning his image from being released, Farrell, who served at the children s hospital from 1994 to 2020, has now been seen for the first time.
Paul Farrell, a predatory pedophile, pleaded guilty in February at Wood Green Crown Court to 69 charges against eight victims, including rape, indecent abuse, and sexual assault of a child under 13.
Many of the allegations were multi-incident, according to prosecutors, who say they amount to several hundred incidents of sexual assault against boys as young as five or six years old over 35 years.
